Clips are strong and not flimsy and I was worried that they would leave marks on my little ones clothes but so far they haven't. They're strong enough to stay put without damaging. The only reason I've gave this a 3 star is unfortunately I received 2 of the same straps instead of 3 designs. However upon contacting the seller through Amazon they contacted me straight back and stated that I could return the item and purchase another one. I've decided not to do this as I've already used one strap and it's only aesthetic not an actual problem with the product just a shame. They have also states that they will rectify this issue with their QC.
